Kolkata: Seventeen Muslim women from diverse fields were feted on Thursday in Bengal for breaking the stereotype and breaking the glass ceiling.
As per the report of the Times of India, the winners of the award include, Uzma Firoz, a costume jeweller, Saboohi Aziz, a social worker, Hena Nafiz, who enrolled into Harvard University for a Masters degree.
These women who succeeded in their respective fields against all odds, were awarded the Zard Sitara Award. Local social organisations presented them the award.
