These buses are scheduled to commence operations in the city starting this Wednesday, with an initial deployment of 25 buses out of a total of 50.

On Wednesday, the Transport Minister, Puvvada Ajay Kumar, will officiate the launch of these buses near Gachibowli Stadium. Joining him in this inauguration are key figures from the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC), including Chairman Bajireddy Govardhan, MLA, TSRTC Vice Chairman and Managing Director VC Sajjanar, as announced by TSRTC in a statement released on Tuesday.

TSRTC has further revealed plans to roll out the remaining 25 buses by November, promising passengers an improved and more comfortable travel experience while contributing to environmental preservation and pollution reduction.

These environmentally conscious buses boast a near-zero emissions profile, with a single charge providing an impressive travel range of up to 225 kilometers. Additionally, they can be fully charged within a mere 3 to 4 hours, offering added convenience to passengers.

Further, the buses are equipped with security cameras at multiple locations ensuring the safety of passengers, with a backup facility for up to one month, the statement added.
