Hyderabad: Muzigal, India’s largest music education platform, inaugurated its sixth state-of-the-art music academy at Shivapuri Colony in Manikonda Jagir, Hyderabad, on Saturday.

With a capacity to accommodate over 500 students across multiple batches, the Music Academy will provide comprehensive lessons in various musical instruments including Piano, Keyboard, Guitar, Drums, Carnatic Vocals, Hindustani Vocals, Western Vocals, Violin, and Ukulele.

To commemorate the launch of the Music Academy, Muzigal is offering one-month free music education for the inaugural month.

During a media interaction, Dr Lakshminarayana Yeluri, Founder of Muzigal, explained, “Muzigal is an esteemed music academy where we offer training in Indian classical music such as Carnatic classical, as well as Western disciplines like keyboard, guitar, piano, violin, and drums.”

Apart from six academies in Hyderabad including one in Manikonda, Muzigal already operates five academies in Bangalore, one in Delhi, and one in Karnataka. Additionally, the company has plans to open 15 more academies, including six in Hyderabad, within the next three months. Ultimately, their goal is to establish a total of 600 academies nationwide within the next five years.

Dr Yeluri further emphasized, “On average, we are opening four academies every month across India. Our vision is to ensure that every neighborhood has access to a music academy that delivers high-quality music education through a structured curriculum and syllabus for every child.”

The response from both children and parents has been overwhelming, as Muzigal has successfully met their expectations by providing a unique academy that did not exist in India previously. The establishment of such an academy offering structured learning under the guidance of qualified music teachers has garnered immense appreciation, he said.

Arun Kaundinya, a prominent Playback singer who inaugurated the academy, expressed his delight in being part of the program. Muzigal authorities are also planning to expand their presence by opening more academies throughout India, while actively engaging highly talented teachers.
