Grand affair: Anil Ambani’s son Anmol says ‘I do’ to Khrisha Shah

Mumbai: The big-fat-Indian wedding went a tad level up the luxury chart on Sunday, as one of the richest men in the country, Industrialist Anil Ambani, played host to the marriage of his son Anmol to entrepreneur Khrisha Shah.
The lovely bride, who has slayed in all her pre-wedding outfits, was a sight to behold, in a red and golden heavily embroidered lehenga. The pretty girl made a style statement of sorts with silver kaleeras, choker, a long neckpiece and a maang teeka. She chose glam makeup and red lips to accentuate her look.
Anmol Ambani looked sauve in a grey-coloured sherwani, as he arrived with his barat, dancing to the beats of the dhol, along with his family members. The much-in-love couple held each other’s hand throughout the ceremonies, which took place at a dreamy venue, recreating the magic of a fairy tale.
The beautifully decorated path, showcasing flowers and lanterns, was lit up by diyas hanging from tree branches. A giant Ganesha statue placed at the centre of the venue made the ambience divine.
The guest list looked impressive with Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan leading the line, along with wife Jaya Bachchan, daughter Shweta Nanda, granddaughter Navya Naveli and daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai. Amitabh looked elegant in an ivory and beige kurta set layered with a long jacket. He also sported a matching pagri and oversized glasses to complete his look.
Actor Aishwarya Rai, looking resplendent in a red floral sari and traditional gold jewellery, stole the limelight the Bachchans had also marked their presence at Anil’s family home, Sea Wind at Cuffe Parade in Mumbai, during the pre-wedding festivities.
Anmol is the elder son of Anil Ambani and Tina Ambani, while Khrisha is a social worker and entrepreneur. The couple met each other through their families. Earlier in the day, Khrisha’s sister, Nriti, had taken to her Instagram handle to share an unseen glimpse of her mehendi ceremony.
In the photo, Khrisha and Anmol posed with their mothers, Falguni Dave and Tina Ambani. Atop it, Nriti had written “Doting mothers-in-law-to-be.”
