The food poisoning issue at Bagh Lingampally Minority Gurukul School and Hostel in Hyderabad continues to raise serious concern, as another girl student was rushed to hospital after her health suddenly deteriorated. The incident has once again highlighted alleged lapses in food quality and hostel management.

The affected student was immediately shifted to the Government Hospital at King Kothi, where doctors are providing treatment and monitoring her condition.
Student Complains of Severe Stomach Pain
According to available information, the student, identified as Shika, complained of severe stomach pain while staying at the hostel. Following her condition, hostel authorities arranged her transfer to the hospital.

This comes just a day after four other students were admitted with similar symptoms of food poisoning, triggering panic among parents and guardians.
Mother Alleges Repeated Illness and Poor Food Quality
The student’s mother, speaking to the media, made serious allegations against the hostel administration. She stated that this was not the first incident, claiming that her daughter has fallen seriously ill for the third time.
According to her, the student had earlier been:
- Hospitalised for nine days
- Treated for repeated stomach infections
- Admitted with blood infection
- Shifted to ICU during a previous illness
She said all medical reports are available as proof.
Claims of Contaminated Food at Hostel
The mother alleged that the quality of food served at the hostel is extremely poor. She claimed that:
- Rice and vegetables contain insects and stones
- Food is cooked without proper cleaning
- Rotten vegetables are allegedly used
Despite repeated complaints, she said the staff responded by saying that there are many students and adjustments are necessary.
Former Hostel Worker Raises Alarm
Adding to the concern, the mother revealed that she had worked at the hostel for some time, during which she personally witnessed unhygienic cooking practices.
She alleged that brinjal and other vegetables were cooked with visible insects, directly affecting the health of students staying in the hostel.
Parents Demand High-Level Inquiry
The repeated incidents of food poisoning have raised serious questions about food safety, hygiene, and monitoring in minority gurukul hostels.
Parents have demanded:
