Hyderabad: The DRS International School’s 21st Annual Sports Meet commenced with an electrifying opening ceremony that unfolded on the school grounds.
The event was graced by esteemed chief guest Smt Priyanka Varghese (IFS) and guest of honor Mr. Bhushan Thakur, an international table tennis champion, alongside Mr. Dayanand Agarwal and Mr. AK Agarwal.
The distinguished guests were welcomed with an enthusiastic VIP salute by the DRS band team.
Adding to the grandeur, the school’s Prefectorial body, four houses, and the talented DRSIS band team showcased precision and discipline in a synchronized march, setting the stage for an exciting sports extravaganza.
During the inauguration ceremony, Smt Priyanka Varghese (IFS) added a touch of symbolism by releasing pigeons, signifying the start of the 21st Annual Sports Meet.

The sports spirit soared as Tesla house (orange) emerged victorious, securing a resounding 9-0 triumph over Galileo house (green) in a thrilling encounter.
