Vietjet to operate direct flight from Hyderabad to Vietnam
The new flight services are planned to link Hyderabad to Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), three of Vietnam’s most well-known business and tourism cities.
Hyderabad: VietJet, the new-age airline and an international low-cost airline from Vietnam, on Thursday announced to operate a direct flight for the first time from Hyderabad to Vietnam from the first week of October this year.
The new flight services are planned to link Hyderabad to Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), three of Vietnam’s most well-known business and tourism cities, said Jay L Lingeswara, Commercial Director, Vietjet, on the occasion.
We are also operating direct flights to Vietnam from Bengaluru and Ahmedabad in October as part of connecting key Indian cities to Vietnam, he said.
We will operate four flights each from Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Ahmedabad, Lingeswara said the new direct flights will make it easier and more affordable for Indian visitors to travel not only to Vietnam but also connect to other Southeast Asia’s destinations of Bali, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore or further to Northeast Asian cities of Seoul Busan, Tokyo, Osaka, Fukuoka, Nagoya and Taipei.
The airline also plans to open new direct services to other major Indian cities by the year end and today’s announcement comes close on the heels of the airline’s recent launch of direct routes connecting New Delhi, Mumbai to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City and its soon-to-launch routes linking Mumbai and New Delhi with Phu Quoc islands, Southeast Asia’s favored beach destination in early September, the Commercial director informed.
We are also looking to operate flights from Chennai and Kochi, he said.
The ticket sales will open by this week or next week, he said we have 5000 agents across India.
Vietnam has lifted all arrival regulations relating to Covid-19 and travelers from India, can easily apply for e-visa and enjoy their coming trips to Vietnam, Lingeswara added.
