The Vice-Chancellor also inaugurated the poster exhibition on Women Freedom Fighters organized by Department of Women Education at Centre for Urdu Culture Studies, MANUU.

Hyderabad: Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan, Vice-Chancellor, Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) after unfurling the tricolour today at University campus paid tributes to the unparalleled sacrifices of our freedom fighters.

MANUU celebrated the Independence Day under “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” to commemorate 75 glorious years of Freedom with pomp & gaiety.

Prof. Ainul Hasan continuing his Independence Day message said we are celebrating the Independence today because of the sacrifices & struggles of freedom fighters. We cannot forget them. How many people were martyred, how many went to jail and shed their blood for achieving Independence, it’s difficult to know the exact numbers.

The colours of our Flag are self-explanatory, one colour gives us strength, courage and motivation, the other one leads to peace and third color gives us prosperity & happiness. These three colors are also symbols of life and health.
