New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday called upon the countrymen to follow the Covid-19 protocols, and also urged all the eligible to take the precaution dose.

The PM’s appeals comes at a time when several states across the country are witnessing a spike in cases of Coronavirus.

“We have to take necessary precautions against Covid-19 like hand hygiene and masks. If it is time for a precaution dose after your second dose, then you must take this third dose,” Modi said in his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ address.

Make your family members, especially the elderly, take a precautionary dose, the PM appealed.

He also said it was a matter of satisfaction that today the country has a comprehensive protective shield of a vaccine.

“We have reached close to 200 crore vaccine doses. Precaution dose is also being rapidly administered in the country,” Modi said.
