Kashmir students dies in Bangladesh

Several Kashmiri politicians appealed to the External Affairs Ministry to help repatriate the body of Khushboo Manzoor.

Srinagar: A student from Anantnag in Jammu and Kashmir who was studying medicine in a Bangladesh medical college has died after falling from the hostel building, prompting calls for her body to be brought back to India.
Several Kashmiri politicians appealed to the External Affairs Ministry to help repatriate the body of Khushboo Manzoor.
“The family is desperate to (get) the mortal remains of Khusboo so she can be buried by the family and loved ones at home rather than far away surrounded by strangers. Please help”, former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah tweeted.
Peoples Democratic Party President Mehbooba Mufti made a similar appeal. Khushboo was pursuing her 3rd year MBBS course at the Khwaja Younis Ali Medical college in Bangladesh.
