Hyderabad: A clash erupted between Bharatiya Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and Congress supporters in Hyderabad’s Ibrahimpatnam on Thursday afternoon. Two police officers and several Congress workers were injured in the incident involving stone-throwing.

Following the nomination filings of both candidates – Malreddy Ranga Reddy from Congress and Manchireddy Kishan Reddy from BRS – both sides engaged in throwing stones at each other.

The Hyderabad police intervened, dispersing the crowd and restoring order. Authorities stated that no curfew or restrictions were put in place in the area.
