The buzz surrounding the offer resulted in chaos as hundreds of vehicles flocked to the hotel area, causing disruptions in traffic. The city was abuzz with advertisements for the one rupee Biryani, enticing people to come forward with their one rupee notes. Eager customers lined up at the hotel, clutching their notes in anticipation. Despite the hotel management announcing that the offer would begin after 2.30 pm, enthusiasts began queuing up well in advance.

As the crowd grew restless, the queue turned unruly, and some impatient individuals broke into the hotel premises, causing an uproar. In response, the police swiftly intervened and dispersed the crowd, leading to a temporary closure of the hotel. The owner expressed disappointment that the unexpected turn of events forced them to close shortly after their much-anticipated opening. Disheartened customers who had come for the Biryani had no choice but to leave.

Moreover, the police imposed a fine of Rs. 100 on vehicles parked in the no-parking area. So, anyone who had come for the one rupee Biryani had to pay a hefty fine of one hundred rupees instead.

Despite the unfortunate turn of events, the hotel’s unique promotional offer successfully piqued the curiosity of the locals and created quite a stir in the city.
