Sakshi Yadav Shines at the 8th Telangana Masters Inter District Swimming Championship 2023

Hyderabad: The 8th Telangana Masters Inter District Swimming Championship 2023, hosted by the Telangana Swimming Association, concluded in grand style at the GHMC Pool in Secunderabad on October 22, 2023. The event brought together exceptional swimmers from various districts of Telangana, showcasing their prowess in the pool.
One standout performer who dominated the championship was Sakshi Yadav, a former National medalist swimmer from Hyderabad. Sakshi’s remarkable achievements in the competition left spectators in awe, as she clinched four gold medals in the individual events of her age group, 30-34 years.
Sakshi’s swimming journey traces back to her early days when she trained at the GHMC Swimming Pool in Secunderabad under the guidance of Coach G. Umesh, who currently serves as the Secretary for the Telangana State Swimming Association. Her dedication and hard work culminated in an exceptional performance at the championship.
Sakshi’s achievements have earned her the honor of representing Telangana State at the upcoming 19th Masters National Championship 2023, scheduled to be held in Mangaluru, Karnataka, from November 24, 2023, to November 26, 2023, under the auspices of the Swimming Federation of India.
