Heavy to very heavy rain likely in Telangana in next 24 hours : Met

In a bulletin here, it said thunderstorm accompanied with lightning and gusty winds speed ranging 30-40 Kmph is very likely to occur at isolated places in all districts of Telangana.

Hyderabad: Heavy to very heavy rain is very likely to occur at isolated places in Adilabad, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalapally, Mulugu and Bhadradri Kothagudem districts of Telangana during the next 24 hours.
Heavy rain is very likely to occur at isolated places in Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Jangaon, Siddipet, Hyderabad, Vikarabad, Sangareddy and Medak districts of the state during the same period, Meteorological Centre said on Thursday.
In a bulletin here, it said thunderstorm accompanied with lightning and gusty winds speed ranging 30-40 Kmph is very likely to occur at isolated places in all districts of Telangana.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is very likely to occur at most places in the state till 0830 hours on Friday.
Heavy to very heavy rain occurred at isolated places in Bhadradri Kothagudem & heavy rain at few places in Vikarabad and at isolated places in Jogulamba Gadwal, Medchal Malkajigiri, Narayanpet, Rangareddy and Yadadri Bhuvanagiri districts of Telangana during the last 24 hours.
Rain occurred at most places in the state during the same period.
Southwest monsoon has been active in Telangana, the bulletin added.
