The event, hosted by the Directorate of Education & Sports, Government of N.C.T. Delhi, took place at the Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Swimming Pool Complex from January 3rd to 9th, 2024, featuring competitors in the age groups of 14th, 17th, and 19th years for both boys and girls.

In the Women’s 200m Butterfly Under 19 category, Vritti Agarwal showcased unparalleled skill and determination, claiming the gold medal for Telangana with a remarkable timing of 2:26.59. Her stellar performance not only secured victory but also underscored Telangana’s prowess in nurturing exceptional swimming talent.

Meanwhile, in the Girls’ 200m Butterfly Under 14, Telangana’s Shivani Karra added another feather to the state’s cap by clinching the bronze with a commendable time of 2:36.64. Her tenacity in the pool and commitment to excellence marked Shivani as a rising star in the realm of competitive swimming.
