Job for BJP leader’s son sparks row

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala BJP President K Surendran came under attack after his son bagged a post in the Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology (RGCB).
As the news became known, the ruling CPI (M) and the main opposition Congress demanded a detailed probe into the alleged violation of appointment procedures.
The Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) also sought an inquiry into the appointment of K S Harikrishnan, son of K Surendran, as a technical officer at the RGCB by reportedly creating a vacancy suitable for his qualification.
