BJP corporator from Mansoorabad, Koppula Narsimha Reddy has been booked for instigating people to attack the police in Telangana.

Hyderabad: A case has been registered against a BJP corporator by the LB Nagar police.

BJP corporator from Mansoorabad, Koppula Narsimha Reddy has been booked for instigating people to attack the police in Telangana.

Police informed that the corporator is member of a WhatsApp group “LBNR Development Forum”.

A video of people attacking an ACP rank official during the ‘BJP Nabanna March’ in West Bengal on Tuesday was posted in the said group. Responding to the video, the corporator commented, “it should be done in Telangana too”. Telangana Today reported.

The police took action against the corporator after a local person took the screenshot of the conversation and posted on Twitter, asking the police to initiate action.

A case was booked against the corporator under Sections 153 A, 505 (2), 506, 189 of Indian Penal Code.
