Hyderabad:  The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education has sent the proposals to the State government seeking permission to implement 70 percent of the syllabus in the academic year 2021-22 as it was done in the last year.

According to the officials of the Intermediate Board, the Central Board of Secondary Education has decided to finalize 70 percent syllabus in Inter for the academic year 2021-22 and the Central Board of Secondary Education has written a letter to the State Inter Board to this effect.  It seems that a positive decision will be taken by the State government soon on this.

In this academic year, 70 percent of the syllabus will be implemented in the same manner.  According to the syllabus, the first and second years examination will be held in March and April 2022.  Intermediate Colleges that were supposed to start on June 1 with the Corona effect started from September 1, while colleges have to run for 280 days, classes will be held for only 220 days if online and offline are combined.  Online classes will last for 47 days and physical classes will be held for 173 days.  It is learned that in view of the difficulties of the students in this context, it has been decided to implement 70 percent syllabus policy in this academic year as well.

The officials hope to give new students a chance to take the Inter First Year exams.  Students who did not pay the exam fee last year will be given another chance this time.  It may take two to three days to pay the fee.   The authorities decided to take back the guest lecturers.  Those who have worked in the past will be given the opportunity again.  The government has issued orders renewing the posts of 1654 guest lecturers in the state.

The officials expect to implement 70 percent of syllabus teaching in school education this year as well.  But, there is no clarity so far on this matter.  It is expected that the same approach followed in Intermediate will be followed in school education  The source added that the deadline for Intermediate admission is likely to be extended once again.  The current deadline is the 30th of this month.  However, many junior colleges have not yet completed the recognition process.  Permits were not granted to ongoing colleges’ multi-complex buildings as well as to colleges that had applied for shifting.  In this contest, it is possible to extend the deadline for admissions.
