4 people arrested for throwing slippers at a mosque in Ballari

Ballari (Karnataka): Ballari police arrested four people for throwing slippers at a mosque in Siruguppa town during Ganesh procession.

The accused committed this crime to create communal tension. ADGP (Law and Order) Alok Kumar said that we have arrested 4 accused and appropriate legal action will be taken against them.

Initially, the police did not identify those who threw slippers at the mosque, but after the video went viral on social media, arrests were made.

The accused were identified as Nitesh Kumar, Bhimanna, Ashok and Anjaneyalu and the first information report (FIR) was registered against them under various sections of the Indian Penal Code.
