Telangana Tourism Corporation MD violates MCC, suspended
Boinpally Manohar Rao, Managing Director TSTDC, has been suspended from duties by Election Commission of India in violation of Model Code of Conduct.
Hyderabad: Boinpally Manohar Rao, Managing Director (FAC) Telangana State Tourism Development Corporation TSTDC, has been suspended from duties by Election Commission of India (ECI) in violation of Model Code of Conduct.
The ECI has received a complaint that Manohar Rao went to Tirumala on October 15, 2023, and he was seen accompanying with State Excise Minister V Srinivas Gaud, who is also a party contesting candidate from Mahabubnagar Assembly constituency.
After investigating the incident, CEO Vikas Raju sent a report to ECI. Based on this report, the Central Election Commission suspended Manohar Rao from the duties.
