Extremely heavy rain likely in Telangana in next 24 hours

Heavy to very heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in Adilabad, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagityal, Rajanna Sirsilla districts of the state on Thursday.

Hyderabad: Heavy to very heavy with extremely heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial,Rajanna Sircilla, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Mahabubabad, Warangal Rural, Warangal Urban, Jangaon districts of Telangana during the next 24 hours, Meteorological Centre here said on Wednesday.

Issuing a bulletin, it said that heavy to very heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in Adilabad Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Siddipet, Sangareddy, Medak, Kamareddy districts And Heavy rain very likely to occur at isolated places in Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet,Yadadri Bhuvangiri, Vikarabad districts of the state during the same period.

Gusty winds with wind speed of 40-50 kmph is likely to prevail over Telangana during the next 24 hours.

Heavy to very heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in Adilabad, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagityal, Rajanna Sirsilla districts of the state on Thursday.

Heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in few districts of Telangana during the next three days.

Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at most places or many places over Telangana during the next five days.

The bulletin said, Southwest Monsoon has been Vigorous over Telangana during the last 24 hours.

Extremely heavy rainfall occurred at most places in Nirmal,at few places in Komaram Bheem, Peddapalli at isolated places in Adilabad, Jagtial, Karimnagar, Mancherial, Mulugu, Nizamabad and Very heavy rainfall occurred at most places in Adilabad, Jogulamba Bhupalpally, Jagtial, Nizamabad, at few places in Karimnagar, Mancherial, Peddapalle, at isolated places in Komaram Bheem, Nirmal , Mulugu, Rajannasircilla.

Heavy rainfall occurred at many places in Rajannasircilla, at few places in Karimnagar,Kumaram Bheem,Mancherial,Kamareddy,Warangal_rural, at isolated places in B.Kothagudem, Jogulamba Bhupalpally,Nizamabad, Peddapalle, Siddipet and Warangal -Urban districts of Telangana during the same period.

Rain occurred at most places over Telangana during the last 24 hours.

During the last 24 hours, Jainoor in Kumaram Bheem district has received height rainfall of 39 cms followed by Kerameri (dist Kumaram Bheem) 38 cms, Sirpuru (dist Kumaram Bheem) 35 cms, Shriramsag.pocha (dist Nirmal) 31 cms, Laxmanchanda (dist Nirmal) 29 cms, Elagaid (dist Peddapalli) 25 cms, Sultanabad (dist Peddapalli) 25 cms, Dharmaram (dist Peddapalli) 25 cms, Peddapalle (dist Peddapalli) 24 cms, Luxettipet (dist Mancherial) 24 cms, Utnur (dist Adilabad) 24 cms, Nirmal (dist Nirmal) 23 cms, Dharmapuri (dist Jagtial) 23 cms, Dilawarpur (dist Nirmal) 23 cms, Venkatapuram (dist Mulugu) 22 cms, Sarangapurnrl (dist Nirmal) 22 cms, Khanpur (dist Nirmal) 22 cms, Choppadandi (dist Karimnagar) 21 cms, Balkonda (dist Nizamabad) 21 cms, Velagatoor (dist Jagtial) 21 cms, Bheemgal (dist Nizamabad) 21 cms, Dandepalle (dist Mancherial) 20 cms, Pegadapalli (dist Jagtial) 20 cms, Srirampur (dist Peddapalli) 20 cms, Julapalli (dist Peddapalli) 20 cms, Metpalle (dist Jagtial) 20 cms, the bulletin added.
