Heavy rain likely in Telangana in next 24 hours : Met

Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning and gusty winds speed with ranging 30-40 kmph is likely to occur at isolated places in many districts of Telangana during the next 48 hours.

Hyderabad: Heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in Nizamabad, Rajanna Sircilla, Karimnagar, Warangal Rural, Warangal Urban, Jangaon, Siddipet, Yadadri Bhuvanagari, Ranga Reddy, Sangareddy, Medak, Kamareddy districts of Telangana during the next 24 hours, Meteorological Centre said on Tuesday.

In a bulletin here, it said that heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in the Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla, Karimnagar, Paddapalli, Mahabubabad, Jangaon, Siddipet, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Ranga Reddy, Hyderabad, Medchal Malkajgiri, Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, Narayanpet, Jogulamba Gadwal district of the state on Wednesday.

Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning and gusty winds speed with ranging 30-40 kmph is likely to occur at isolated places in many districts of Telangana during the next 48 hours.

Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning is likely to occur at isolated places in many districts of the state from Thursday to Saturday.

Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at many places or at few places in Telangana during the next five days.

Heavy rain occurred at isolated places in Komaram Bheem district of the state during the last 24 hours.

Rain occurred at a few places in Telangana during the same period.

The highest maximum temperature of 41 degrees celsius was recorded at Nalgonda on Monday, the bulletin added.
