The incident took place early Sunday morning as the car was headed towards Muttangi toll plaza near Patancheru police station in Sangareddy district from Gachibowli.

The car attempted to overtake a DCM vehicle but ended up overturning. The victims, Mohammad Luqman (19) and Syed Majeed (21), both occupants of the car, tragically lost their lives at the scene.

Three others were critically injured. The injured parties were initially taken to Patancheru Government Hospital, then subsequently transferred to a private hospital in Hyderabad. Two of them remain in critical condition.

The deceased have been transported to Patancheru Mortuary, and their families have been notified.

Patancheru police have initiated an investigation, and preliminary findings suggest that excessive speed was the primary factor contributing to the accident. The car sustained severe damage as a result of the collision.
