Four killed as car rams into tractor-trolley

Badaun (UP): Four persons, including two children, were killed and three others were injured when a car rammed into a stationary tractor-trolley in Civil Lines area of Badaun district here in Uttar Pradesh, a police officer said here on Sunday.

Station House Officer (SHO) Civil Lines Gaurav Vishnoi said that the incident took place late on Saturday night when the car rammed into the tractor-trolley near Dahemi village. “Suraj Shri (50), Shashi Yadav (25), Harsh (10) and Arnab (6) were killed on the spot in the incident,” he said.

He said that Neelam, Jitendra and Aaru (2) were injured in the incident. “The injured were taken to the district hospital from where 2 having serious injuries were transferred to a higher center for treatment,” he said.

The SHO said that the victims were residents of Arsis Barkhin village and were returning from a marriage function at the time of the incident.
