Hyderabad: Madhya Pradesh Police has arrested 5 people from Hyderabad. The Madhya Pradesh ATS arrested five people on Tuesday morning who are accused of having links with terrorist organisations.
According to sources, in the same case, the Madhya Pradesh Police arrested 11 people in Bhopal. Five Hyderabadis who had links with these 11 people from Bhopal were detained. The details regarding the area from which they were lifted from Hyderabad could not be known immediately.
Electronic equipment, laptops and mobile phones were recovered from the arrested persons. The arrested five were transferred to Madhya Pradesh.
According to another source, at least 6 suspects involved in radical Islamic activity were picked up from Hyderabad, 11 were detained from Bhopal by police after a coordinated intelligence operation.
A self-radicalised group from Bhopal was found staying in Hyderabad. After an over month-long watch intelligence wing picked up 6. So far no direct link to any terror organisation could be found but self-radicalisation confirmed.
