Addressing a rally on occasion of the party’s 139th foundation day here, he said that after coming to power, the Modi government had promised to provide two crore jobs every year, but he has not delivered on it.

“How many people did the Modi government provide jobs in last 10 years?” he questioned.
The country today has the highest unemployment rate in last 40 years, he said and pointed that millions of youths are wasting their energy due to lack of jobs.

On one hand, farmers and youths are in trouble, on other hand, the wealth of the country is being distributed among a handful of industrialists, the Congress leader alleged.

Gandhi claimed that after the Congress party made a demand for conducting a caste-wise census in the country, Modi changed his language saying that the poor are the only caste in the country.

If Congress comes to power, it will conduct a caste-wise census and will make efforts to give employment to the youth of the country, he asserted.

The Congress party will deliver on its promises, he assured.
