Justice on Wheels: TSHRC to Organize Awareness Programmes

As part of this program it is organizing "Human Rights Awareness Programmes in Law Colleges, in Hyderabad as well in various Law colleges in the state of Telangana. 

Hyderabad: Keeping in view to provide justice to the people, particularly the poor people mostly living in the slum areas, the Telangana State Human Rights Commission (TSHRC) has come out with the unique programme “Access to Justice on Wheels”.

As part of this program it is organizing “Human Rights Awareness Programmes in Law Colleges, in Hyderabad as well in various Law colleges in the state of Telangana. 

Speaking to press persons, Secretary to TSHRC Vidyadhar Bhatt, along with Prof. Gali vinod Kumar, Dean, Faculty of Law, Osmania and Telangana Universities and the principals of various Law Colleges in the city of Hyderabad, today, they said that on the call given by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi that the judicial services should reach to the common people, particularly the poor.

The TSHRC has decided to bring awareness programme from November 26 to December 10 that is Constitution Day to International Human Rights Day. In this programme the law students will be asked to visit in the slums areas to provide justice to the needy and also encourage the NGOs for bringing awareness.

As part of this programme, TSHRC along with the Osmania university, awareness programme on Right to Education as a Human Right will be conducted at KV Ranga Reddy law College, Domalguda, on November 26, on the topic Right to Health at keshav Memorial Law College, Himayathnagar on November 29, Right to Food at Ambedkar law College, Baghlingampally on December 2.

Women Rights at MSS law College, Barkatpura on December 4, Minority Rights at Sultan Ul-Uloom Law College, Banjara Hills on December 7 and on the occasion of International Human Rights Day on December 10, programme will be held on topic “Access to Justice for All, at TSHRC.
