Revised passport appointments scheduled for Jan 22, due to half-day holiday

As a result, applicants with passport appointments scheduled for January 22 from 0900 hours to 1415 hours are advised of the following changes:

Hyderabad: The Government of India has declared a half-day holiday (until 14:30 hours) on January 22, in observance of the Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha at Ayodhya.

As a result, applicants with passport appointments scheduled for January 22 from 0900 hours to 1415 hours are advised of the following changes:

All appointments within the mentioned time frame will be rescheduled and processed on the same day for all 5 PSKs and 14 POPSKs.

Applicants with slots starting at 0845 hours may commence reporting at 1445 hours, 0900 hours at 1500 hours, and so forth.

Applicants with slots from 1430 hours onward may continue to report at their scheduled time.

Applicants are urged to take note of this schedule adjustment and plan their visits to the PSKs and PoPSKs accordingly.

Additionally, they have the option to reschedule their appointments for other available dates if they are unable to visit the PSK or PoPSK on the revised date, a statement said on Saturday.
