Yashwant Sinha visit: Hyd city police imposes traffic restrictions

A large gathering is expected from Begumpet airport – Lifestyle – Somajiguda – Khairtabad – IMAX Rotary – Necklace Road –Jalavihar, which may lead to traffic congestion.

Hyderabad: In view of rally on July 02, 2022 in relation to arrival of Mr. Yaswanth Sinha, (contesting candidate for Presidential elections) from Begumpet Airport to Jalavihar the traffic will be stopped or diverted at following places on need basis from 11.00 AM to 02.00 PM. 

A large gathering is expected from Begumpet airport – Lifestyle – Somajiguda – Khairtabad – IMAX Rotary – Necklace Road –Jalavihar, which may lead to traffic congestion.

The following diversions will be made, if required as per the local situation:

1. Traffic coming from Green Lands towards Raj Bhavan Road will be diverted at MonappaIsland  / Rajiv Gandhi Statue towards Panjagutta.

2. Traffic coming from Khairatabad towards Necklace Rotary will not be allowed towards Necklace rotary and diverted at Khairatabad junction towards Shadan College.

3. Traffic coming from Minister Road towards Sanjeevaiah Park will not be allowed and diverted towards BuddaBhavan, Tankbund at Nallagutta Bridge.

4. Traffic coming from Tankbund towards Sanjeevaiah Park will not be allowed and diverted towards Karbala Maidan at SonaBai Mosque.

5. Traffic coming from Mint Compound towards Necklace rotary will not be allowed towards Rotary and will be diverted towards Khairatabad Bada Ganesh at Traffic PS Saifabad.  

General Public is advised to take alternative routes and avoid the following routes where traffic congestion is expected and co-operate with Traffic Police

1. Begumpet Airport towards Panjagutta X Roads

2. Somajiguda towards Khairatabad Junction (Raj Bhavan Road)

3. Khairatabad Junction towards Necklace Road Rotary

4. Necklace road Rotary towards Jalavihar

5. Telugu Talli towards Necklace Rotary

 Also large numbers of political leaders are expected to move from Begumpet Airport to HICC Novotel Madhapur between 10 am to 6 pm through Panjagutta – KBR Park – Jubilee Hills Check Post – Road No. 36 – Madhapur which may lead to traffic congestion. Public are requested to avoid these routes during the aforementioned timings.
