In a swift and coordinated operation, the Rajendranagar SOT team and Attapur Police arrested a ganja peddler along with two consumers who were found illegally selling and using ganja in the Hasan Nagar area near Raja Kirana Store in Attapur.

Police identified the main accused as Shaik Saleem, who was allegedly selling dry ganja in the locality. Two individuals who were consuming ganja—Shaik Sameer and Mohammed Ateeulla—were also detained during the operation.
1.18 kg of Dry Ganja and Smartphones Seized
During the raid, police seized:
- 1 kg 180 grams of dry ganja
- Three smartphones used by the accused
Officials stated that a credible tip-off alerted the SOT and Attapur Police about the ongoing drug activity, leading to the successful arrest of all three individuals.
Case Registered Under NDPS Act
Authorities confirmed that a case has been registered under the NDPS Act against the accused. Police added that a detailed investigation is underway to determine:
- The source of the ganja
- Whether the accused are linked to a larger supply network
- Possible involvement of other local peddlers
The bust is part of ongoing efforts to curb illegal drug distribution in Hyderabad’s residential zones.
