Hyderabad: As the Muslims’ holy month of Ramadan has entered its 3rd Daha (10 days) and Eid is almost a week away, shopping has picked up pace for the residents of Hyderabad.
Eid shopping is incomplete without a walk around Charminar and a night Bazaar in Old City. Hectic activity is being seen and the markets in areas like Charminar, Pathergatti, Madina Building, Begum Bazar, Sultan Bazar, Abids, and Tolichowki are witnessing a rush of buyers.
In view of heavy road congestion during the last days of Ramadan, the Hyderabad Traffic Police has made free parking arrangements in a few places in the Old City.
Free parking is available at Unani Hospital premises, Khuda Stadium, Moti Galli Pension Office, Mufeed-ul-Anam premises, Panch Mohalla Bus Stand. Sakshi Post reported. The traffic police have asked public to report if anyone collects the parking fee in these areas.
