Hyderabad: As the city prepares to host the Miss World 2025 pageant, the Hyderabad City Police have announced strict aerial restrictions over several key locations. The move aims to ensure public safety and event security.

Ban on Drones, Paragliders, and Micro-Light Aircraft
The order prohibits the flying of drones, para-gliders, and any other remotely operated aerial vehicles, including micro-light aircraft, across specified high-security areas in Hyderabad.
These restrictions will be in effect until June 2, 2025, covering the duration of the Miss World 2025 events and related activities in the city.
Affected Locations and Dates
The aerial ban will apply to a 3-kilometre radius around the following sensitive and event-specific venues:
- Charminar, Laad Bazaar, Chowmahalla Palace, Khilwat
May 13 (Tuesday) - Telangana Police Integrated Command and Control Centre
May 18 - Telangana State Secretariat and Tank Bund
May 18 - Raj Bhavan, Somajiguda
