Counting Process and Election Overview

The counting process began at 8 AM at counting centres across the state. Officials started by verifying and counting postal ballots, with the counting of Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) votes commencing at 8:30 AM. This election witnessed a voter turnout of 66.05%, a significant increase from 61.1% in the 2019 elections, reflecting heightened public interest and participation.
