The murder took place on December 1, 2025, at Yerrakunta Katta, Tarnaka, and was registered under Cr. No. 521/2025 U/Sec 103 r/w 3(5) BNS.

Accused Believed Victim Performed Black Magic
During the investigation, it was discovered that A-1 Shaik Ghouse (43) suspected the victim of performing black magic on his family. He believed the victim’s alleged actions were causing:
- Financial losses
- Domestic issues
- Rumours being spread about his wife
Driven by these fears, A-1 conspired with:
- A-2 Syed Shoaib (32)
- A-3 Md. Ilyas (20)
Together, they formed a plan to eliminate the victim in a cold-blooded attack.
How the Murder Was Executed
Police detailed the step-by-step execution of the murder:

- A-2 lured the victim to Boost Hotel Lane on the pretext of meeting him.
- As soon as the victim arrived, A-1 attacked him with an iron rod, injuring him severely.
- The trio then placed the victim inside A-2’s Xylo car and transported him to Tarnaka.
- At Yerrakunta Katta, A-1 allegedly slit the victim’s throat, killing him on the spot.
- After the murder, they dumped the body, fled, and hid the weapons near their residences.
The investigation confirmed that the murder was meticulously planned and deliberately executed.
Police Arrest All Three Accused With Credible Information
Acting swiftly on strong clues, police teams from:
- Osmania University Police Station,
- Nallakunta Police Station, and
- Task Force East Zone,
conducted targeted operations and successfully apprehended all three accused.
Officials also located the vehicle used in the crime and recovered incriminating evidence associated with the murder.
Police stated that the arrests were made before the suspects could escape or tamper with evidence.
