Hyderabad, Oct. 31: The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) has officially announced the Intermediate Public Examination (IPE) 2026 schedule for both first and second-year students. The exams are set to begin on February 25, 2026, and will conclude on March 18, 2026, the board confirmed in its latest notification.
All theory exams for both years will be held in the morning session from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon. The practical examinations are scheduled between February 2 and February 21, 2026, conducted in two shifts — 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon and 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The English practical exam for first-year students will take place on January 21, 2026 (Wednesday), while second-year students will appear on January 22, 2026 (Thursday).

The Board also mentioned that students whose practical exams coincide with JEE Mains 2026 will be provided alternate arrangements to avoid any scheduling conflicts.
IPE 2026 Exam Dates — Theory Schedule
The first-year exams will begin with the Second Language Paper-I on February 25, followed by English Paper-I on February 27. Core subjects like Mathematics, Botany, Political Science, Zoology, History, Physics, Chemistry, and Commerce will be conducted in the first two weeks of March. The exams will end with Modern Language and Geography Paper-I on March 17, 2026.
For second-year students, the exams commence on February 26 with Second Language Paper-II, and conclude on March 18, 2026, with Modern Language II and Geography II.
Important Guidelines for Students
TSBIE has advised students to report to their examination centers at least 30 minutes before the commencement of the exam. The use of mobile phones, smartwatches, and any electronic gadgets will be strictly prohibited inside exam halls. Hall tickets will be made available two weeks prior to the exam on the official TSBIE website.
