Washington: The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in the United States has arrested 10 Indian nationals allegedly involved in violent crimes. According to officials, the arrests were made in multiple states where the suspects are accused of participating in armed robberies and criminal conspiracies.

The FBI stated that the operations were carried out in the U.S. states of Massachusetts, Kentucky, Missouri, and Ohio. During these operations, several individuals were taken into custody who are suspected of carrying out crimes in a planned and organized manner.

Authorities said the suspects were allegedly involved in a series of armed robberies. During the investigation, it was also revealed that some of these incidents were allegedly staged so that store clerks could claim they had been victims of violent crimes.

According to the report, such claims could potentially allow certain individuals to seek special immigration benefits under U.S. immigration laws. Officials believe that an organized network may be involved in the case, and further investigations are currently underway.

FBI officials stated that law enforcement agencies are working to ensure that those involved in such crimes are brought to justice and that any misuse of the immigration system is prevented. They also indicated that more arrests may be made as the investigation progresses.
