Our Legacy – Since 1963

Founded in 1963, The Munsif Daily is one of India’s oldest and most respected multilingual newspapers. Published from Hyderabad, Telangana, the newspaper serves readers in Urdu, English, and Hindi languages.

The newspaper is certified by the Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC) and carries R.N.I. Registration No. 8181/63, reflecting its authenticity and long-standing credibility in the Indian media landscape.

For generations, Munsif has remained committed to truthful reporting, public interest journalism, and editorial integrity.

History & Growth

The newspaper was earlier managed by Mahmood Ansari and later overseen by Masood Ansari after 1994. In 1996, The Munsif Daily was acquired by Khan Lateef Khan, who introduced major modernization initiatives including full-colour printing and expanded circulation.

Following the demise of Khan Lateef Khan on 6 August 2020, all leadership, publishing, and editorial responsibilities of The Munsif Daily were assumed by Mohammed Abdul Jaleel, who continues to oversee the newspaper and its digital operations.
