Minority Delegation Meets Telangana IT Minister Sridhar Babu, Raises Key Community Concerns
A delegation representing minority communities, led by senior Congress leader Mohammed Ismail Ur Rab Ansar (Urdu Ansari), met Telangana IT Minister Sridhar Babu on December 17 to discuss issues concerning minority welfare in the state.

Hyderabad: A delegation representing minority communities, led by senior Congress leader Mohammed Ismail Ur Rab Ansar (Urdu Ansari), met Telangana IT Minister Sridhar Babu on December 17 to discuss issues concerning minority welfare in the state.
During the meeting, Ansar apprised the minister of the closure of the Minority Cell at Gandhi Bhavan and appealed for its reopening. He also reminded the minister of assurances made during the election campaign regarding the implementation of sub-plans and other welfare benefits for Muslim minorities.

The delegation expressed disappointment over the non-functioning of the Telangana Urdu Academy and urged the government to revive its activities at the earliest.
Minister Sridhar Babu assured the delegation that all the concerns raised would be examined and addressed appropriately.
Members of the delegation included Mohd Azam Pasha, Shiv Shankar, Janab Sanaullah Khan, Mohammed Ibrahim and Mohammed Ghaffar, who were present during the meeting.
