Revenue, Registration & Survey Services to Be Unified Under Bhu Bharati Portal in Telangana
Telangana to unify Revenue, Registration and Survey departments under the Bhu Bharati portal from January 2026, offering one-click access to complete land records.

In a major reform aimed at transforming land administration in Telangana, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Minister for Revenue, announced that the Revenue, Stamps & Registration, and Survey departments will be brought under a single integrated digital platform called the Bhu Bharati portal from January 2026. The initiative is expected to ensure faster, transparent, and citizen-friendly land services, especially benefiting farmers.

What Is the Bhu Bharati Portal?
The Bhu Bharati portal is a unified land records system designed to provide complete land-related information on one platform.
Key features of the Bhu Bharati portal include:
- 📄 Registration details
- 🔄 Mutation records
- 💰 Market value of land
- 🗺️ Village and survey maps
- 🧾 NALA orders
- 📑 ROR (Record of Rights)
- 🏘️ Layout approvals
- 📝 Citizen feedback
All information will be available with a single click, making land transactions easier and more reliable.

Aadhaar-Linked Login and Survey Number Mapping
The portal will be accessible through Aadhaar-linked mobile login, ensuring secure access. The government will also undertake mapping of every survey number, which will help:
- Prevent land disputes
- Simplify buying and selling of land
- Improve accuracy of land records
The system will be error-free and tamper-proof, following a citizen-centric approach.
Announcement After CCLA Office Inspection
The Minister made the announcement after a surprise inspection of the CCLA office in Nampally, followed by a review meeting with senior officials. Expressing dissatisfaction with the current functioning, he directed officials to modernise the office on corporate standards, stating that visible improvements must be seen before his next visit.
Focus on Pending Land Issues and Bhoodan Lands
Highlighting long-standing problems, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy pointed out that land acquired by the government decades ago is still registered in private names. He ordered immediate updation of records and announced a comprehensive review of assigned lands and Bhoodan lands, along with pending vigilance and court cases, to identify reasons for delays.
Uniform Model for Tahsildar Offices
As part of wider reforms, officials were instructed to design a uniform model for Tahsildar offices across Telangana, ensuring standardised services and improved public experience at the grassroots level.
Senior Officials Attend Review Meeting
The review meeting was attended by senior officials including D.S. Lokesh Kumar, Rajiv Gandhi Hanumantu, Mandha Makarandu, Prasad, and others.

With the launch of the Bhu Bharati portal from January 2026, Telangana is set to take a significant leap towards digital, transparent, and efficient land governance, reducing disputes and making land services accessible to every citizen.
