Firasath Ali Baqri Flags Off Annual Sehra Procession on Hazrat Ali’s Birth Anniversary
The annual Sehra procession marking the birth anniversary of Hazrat Ali (A.S.), the First Imam of Islam, was flagged off on the 13th of Rajab by Mir Firasath Ali Baqri, former state spokesperson of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Telangana, on Saturday.

Hyderabad: The annual Sehra procession marking the birth anniversary of Hazrat Ali (A.S.), the First Imam of Islam, was flagged off on the 13th of Rajab by Mir Firasath Ali Baqri, former state spokesperson of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Telangana, on Saturday.
The procession commenced from Bargha Sakina at Kotla Alijah and passed through several prominent localities, including Mandi Mir Alam, Purani Haveli, Darulshifa, Alawa-e-Sartauq, Maidan-e-Ghadeer, Chaderghat, Barkatpura, Nallakunta and Tarnaka, before culminating at the historic Moula Ali Pahad.
The religious event was organised by the Seerat-e-Zehra Committee under the leadership of Ali Raza and witnessed the participation of a large number of devotees.
Several prominent religious scholars and community leaders addressed the gathering during the procession. Among them were Moulana Syed Luqman Hussain Moosvi, Moulana Ali Murtuza, Mir Gazanfar Ali Zaki, Syed Abbas Ali Sayeed, Syed Raza Abbas Nadeem, Syed Fazale Abbas Razvi, Naushad Raza Mirza and Noor ul Hasan Tabrezi.
