Massive Fire Breaks Out at Furniture Shop in Nampally, Four-Storey Building Gutted

Hyderabad: Panic gripped the busy Nampally Station Road area on Thursday morning after a massive fire broke out at a furniture shop, quickly engulfing an entire four-storey building.

According to preliminary reports, the fire originated on the ground floor of the building, where a furniture showroom storing large quantities of wood and other inflammable materials was located. Due to the intensity of the blaze, flames rapidly spread to the upper floors, while thick plumes of smoke were seen rising high into the sky and could be spotted from a distance.

Upon receiving information, the Fire Services Department rushed to the spot. At least four fire engines were deployed, and firefighters are currently engaged in efforts to bring the fire under control. Rescue teams are also carefully entering the building to assess the situation and ensure the safety of anyone who may be trapped inside.

Initial reports suggested that two children might be inside the building at the time of the incident, raising serious concern and prompting intensified rescue operations. However, officials are yet to confirm this information.
