According to officials, the workers were stranded after the engine of their boat failed in the middle of Mir Alam Tank. The boat got stuck amid thick algae and aquatic plants, making movement impossible. After the workers made an emergency call to Dial 100, HYDRAA’s Disaster Rescue Force (DRF) teams were immediately deployed. Despite difficult conditions, the rescue teams navigated through dense aquatic vegetation and dark waters to reach the stranded workers.
