Hyderabad: The Telangana State Haj Committee has announced an important facility for Haj 2026 pilgrims, allowing them to self-book Haj flights as per their convenience. The move is aimed at providing greater flexibility to pilgrims in planning their travel.

Self-Booking Facility Introduced
The Chairman of the Telangana State Haj Committee, Syed Gulam Afzal Biabani (Khusro Pasha), informed that the Haj Committee of India has opened the option of self-booking of Haj flights for pilgrims.
This facility is available to all Haj pilgrims who do not wish to stay at Ribat-e-Nizam Hyderabad and prefer accommodation provided by the Haj Committee at other locations.
Flight Schedule From Hyderabad
According to the committee, the tentative Haj flight schedule from the Hyderabad embarkation point is between May 5, 2026, and May 20, 2026. Pilgrims opting for self-booking can choose their preferred travel dates within this period.
Self-Booking Window and Extension Request
The self-booking option is currently available for four days. However, the Telangana State Haj Committee has requested the Haj Committee of India to extend the deadline till February 5, 2026, considering the draw for Ribat-e-Nizam Hyderabad accommodation, which will be conducted through an online lucky draw at Chowmahalla Palace on February 5 at 5:00 PM.
Pilgrims have been advised to wait until February 5, 2026, to know whether they are selected for Ribat-e-Nizam Hyderabad. If not selected, they may proceed with self-booking their flights.
No Changes After Flight Allotment
The Chairman clarified that once a flight is allotted, no changes will be permitted under any circumstances by the Haj Committee of India. However, Ribat-e-Nizam flights will be allotted separately.
Pilgrims have also been asked to strictly follow the guidelines and Circular No. 29 dated January 28, 2026, related to self-booking of Haj flights.
Second Orientation Training Camp
The committee also announced that the second orientation training camp for Haj pilgrims will be held on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at Heritage Palace, Pillar No. 245, Attapur, Hyderabad, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Pilgrims have been requested to attend the session punctually.
