Hyderabad: Strengthening leadership under the Core Urban Region (CURE) urban governance restructuring, the Government of Telangana has entrusted Jayesh Ranjan, IAS, Special Chief Secretary to Government, Metropolitan Area & Urban Development Department, with the crucial responsibility of Special Officer for the three municipal corporations — GHMC, Cyberabad Municipal Corporation and Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation.

Jayesh Ranjan IAS: Key Role in CURE Urban Governance
As Special Chief Secretary to Government, MA&UD Department, Jayesh Ranjan has been given additional charge as Special Officer following the reorganisation notified under G.O.Ms.No.55 dated 11.02.2026.
He is currently coordinating the entire reorganisation process from the GHMC Head Office, playing a decisive role in aligning policy, administration and execution across the three newly structured civic bodies.

In his role as Special Officer, Jayesh Ranjan, IAS, is responsible for overseeing coordination among:
- Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC)
