Bomb Scare on Bahrain Flight at Shamshabad Airport

According to officials, Gulf Air flight GF 274, which landed in Hyderabad from Bahrain, received an email warning that the aircraft would be blown up. The pilot safely landed the plane at the airport following standard security protocols.

Hyderabad: A bomb threat triggered panic at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) in Shamshabad on Wednesday after an international flight arriving from Bahrain was reportedly targeted through a threatening email.

According to officials, Gulf Air flight GF 274, which landed in Hyderabad from Bahrain, received an email warning that the aircraft would be blown up. The pilot safely landed the plane at the airport following standard security protocols.

Immediately after landing, airport security authorities swung into action. All passengers were safely deboarded, and the aircraft was moved to a designated isolation bay for thorough inspection.

Bomb disposal squads and security personnel conducted a comprehensive search of the aircraft. After an extensive examination, officials confirmed that no suspicious object was found on board and declared the threat to be a hoax.

Airport police have registered a case regarding the fake bomb threat email and have launched an investigation to trace those responsible for issuing the threat.

Authorities said all necessary safety measures were followed to ensure passenger security, and airport operations continued without major disruption.
