Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao has directed officials to strengthen the state power distribution system with a special focus on reducing losses of power distribution companies (DISCOMs). He chaired the second meeting of the State Distribution Reforms Committee at the Secretariat on Friday.

The meeting was held to review and approve Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) submitted under:
- Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme
- Dharti Aaba Jana Jatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan
Senior officials from the Energy and Finance departments, along with power distribution companies, presented updates on ongoing reforms, infrastructure strengthening, and modernization plans.
