Hyderabad: Touch-A-Life Foundation hosted TALHealthFest 2026 at T-Hub, bringing together policymakers, clinicians, technologists, researchers and social impact leaders to deliberate on the future of accessible and technology-driven healthcare.

The global conference focused on building partnerships to expand healthcare access through TALHospitals — a pro bono network that connects underserved patients with hospitals offering free surgeries and life-saving consultations.

The event opened with an inaugural address by N. S. Boseraju, Cabinet Minister in the Government of Karnataka, who underscored the need to integrate innovation, trust and accessibility to build sustainable healthcare ecosystems.

Sai Gundavelli, CEO of Touch-A-Life Foundation, highlighted the role of technology in bridging healthcare gaps. He announced the launch of TALMedora, a global platform aimed at connecting doctors worldwide to expand access to expertise and consultations. Stressing the power of volunteerism, he said technology and collaboration — rather than financial resources alone — can significantly improve healthcare reach.

Boseraju reiterated the Karnataka government’s commitment to fostering innovation ecosystems, noting that investments in science and technology are critical to addressing global challenges and extending world-class healthcare access even to rural populations.

Govinda Hari, Founder and President of AHPI Telangana, emphasized the importance of partnerships between governments, nonprofits and hospitals in the post-COVID era to strengthen both healthcare quality and accessibility.

The conference featured keynote sessions on data security and governance, the future of life sciences, and breakthroughs in vaccine research, including advancements in mRNA platforms, conjugate vaccines and precision delivery technologies. Experts also explored how artificial intelligence, quantum technologies and advanced data platforms are transforming drug discovery, diagnostics and patient care.

Panel discussions throughout the day addressed pressing global healthcare themes such as the role of quantum computing and AI in medicine, longevity and elderly care, India’s position in the global medical tourism sector, mental health innovation, and community-driven healthcare change.

Among the keynote speakers were Mark Lee of Solix Technologies, Nishith Desai and Mihir Parikh of Nishith Desai Associates, and Ramesh Matur of myRNA Therapeutics.

Panel sessions were moderated by industry leaders including Uday Saxena, Murali Krishnam, Joe Lancaster, Raju Pusapati, Bala Vidyadhar Malladi of Pushpagiri Vitreo Retina Institute, and Gopal Garg of Ashoka. More than 30 panelists participated, including Evita Fernandez of Fernandez Hospital, Anshu Gupta of Goonj, and Deepika T. Grandhi of Cleveland Clinic.

The summit concluded with a keynote by Sridhar Babu, Telangana’s Minister for ITE&C, Industries & Commerce and Legislative Affairs, followed by a networking dinner aimed at fostering cross-sector collaboration.

TALHealthFest 2026 reinforced its position as a collaborative global platform uniting healthcare providers, researchers, startups, nonprofits and enterprises to accelerate equitable and technology-enabled healthcare access.
