Inaugurating BioAsia 2026 at HITEX in Hyderabad, the Chief Minister invited global companies to invest in Telangana’s rapidly expanding life sciences sector. He revealed that the state has attracted investments worth over ₹73,000 crore in the life sciences domain over the past two years.
Revanth Reddy noted that a new Life Sciences Policy was recently announced in Davos and highlighted the expansion of Genome Valley, along with the launch of advanced research initiatives such as “One Bio.” He added that the government is also fast-tracking the development of the proposed Green Pharma City project.
Referring to the “Telangana Rising 2047” vision, the Chief Minister said the state aims to grow its economy to USD 1 trillion by 2034 and further scale it up to USD 3 trillion by 2047.
He emphasized that Bio Asia has evolved from a regional conference into a global platform, now attracting participation from over 4,000 delegates representing 500 leading companies worldwide.

Calling upon industry leaders to establish their global hubs in Telangana, he encouraged the adoption of artificial intelligence in drug discovery and digital manufacturing. Revanth Reddy assured investors that the Telangana government, scientists, and skilled youth of the state would act as equal partners in ensuring their success.
“Telangana means business,” he asserted, adding that the state is fully prepared to compete with the world’s best industrial clusters in the life sciences and pharmaceutical sectors.
