The newly launched 50-bedded Super Speciality Hospital is equipped with advanced medical technology aimed at delivering comprehensive kidney and urinary system care.
The state-of-the-art facility will cater to patients from Suchitra, Kompally, Alwal, Bollaram, and other parts of North Hyderabad, offering diagnosis, treatment, and surgical services under one roof.
Hospital Director Dr. Chandra Mohan stated that the centre has been equipped with the latest SSI Mantra Robotic Surgery System 3.0 and 160-Watt Holmium Laser technology, widely used in the treatment of kidney stones and prostate conditions. He noted that the availability of both these advanced technologies at a single centre is a rare facility in the Telugu states.
Highlighting the rising incidence of kidney-related diseases, he said lifestyle changes, diabetes, and hypertension are major contributing factors. He emphasized that early detection and timely treatment can significantly prevent kidney failure, adding that the hospital aims to provide advanced care at affordable costs.
Executive Director Dr. Roopa Putta said the hospital will focus extensively on minimally invasive and robotic surgeries to ensure reduced pain, minimal blood loss, and faster recovery for patients.
Preeti Kidney Hospitals already operates centres at KPHB, BHEL, and Kondapur. The new Suchitra branch is expected to enhance access to specialized kidney care for residents of North Hyderabad. The hospital also plans to conduct awareness programs to promote prevention and early diagnosis of kidney diseases.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Member of Parliament Etala Rajender, MLAs KP Vivekanand Goud, Arikapudi Gandhi, and Madhusudan Reddy, former MLAs Kuna Srisailam Goud and Mynampally Hanumanth Rao, along with Corporator Bharatha Simha Reddy and senior urologist Dr. M.A. Raoof as Guest of Honour. Kidney specialists, doctors, hospital staff, and other dignitaries were also present.
