Hanuman Temple Idol Damaged in Barks Area

Hyderabad: Tension prevailed in parts of the city after an idol at an ancient Hanuman temple in the Barks area of Hyderabad was found damaged on Monday.

According to local sources, unidentified miscreants allegedly vandalised the idol, triggering concern among residents. Upon receiving information, the police rushed to the spot, inspected the temple premises, and brought the situation under control.

A case has been registered against unknown persons, and an investigation has been initiated. Police officials said efforts are underway to identify the culprits, and CCTV footage from nearby areas is being examined as part of the probe.
